Outta that many you'd probably loose two or three no matter what. If it works I just stick to it.the first year I had all the "proper measuring tools and thermos for everything. I am becoming lax as I age.BUT hey its still working usually only loose maybe 2 chicks out of 50 to 100 per year. I can live with that.
I cant see you running around that big room trying to catch 3 chicks without stomping the others.

Idk but I can't imagine it would. Mines about a year old too. I think.does mothers go bad ? Its been opened for a year I guess.
