I started with 49 but had a lot of clears. They were the really old eggs. So after I pulled the clears and early quitters there were 40. Then I lost three more. So a dozen total. Still, not bad knowing how old they were.
If he stayed like this I would keep him and put him with the frizzle mother hen. She finally laid an egg yesterdayFirst one since she went broody last summer. Thought she was never going to lay again!!![]()
