WOW everyone went to bed early. I did diddley today got caught up in a Spanish tv series on Netflix. All in subtitles but then I have to have them on for English shows also due to hearing loss. Think I will have my buddy or me call that SOB from the county and tell them to come mark where they will allow the fence as road has been all over and I am not going to do it a fourth time!!!

I'm awake but my day is just starting!! Nearly 7 am here. It's chucking it down here!! My yard is flooded and it's very bleak.

Thanks Granny and Dannachic for your kind words the other day. I feel very blessed at my age[65] that I have no health issues.Daughter and family went away last week.Have been ''Granny the Nanny'' for all 3 of my grandchildren since oldest[now coming up 14] was 3 mths old.Girls are 7 and just turned 9.The things I was going to catch up on whilst they were away! Instead I got the flu.

Dotties mum it must be very difficult for you.How much can you get out and about with your allergies?

maybe not the best timing in the world but wanted to let you all know I finally did something today.

I cleaned a room in the house including washing statues and the floor. LOL Then asked DH if he would come sit with me outside while i cleaned. I am now the proud owner of 2 not one but 2 new hunks of meat in the sink. I only have to wrap and freeze them now.

That is the last time that overgrown EE rooster tries to mate my 8oz. serama !
My husband now has a whole new respect for me as well.

He looked a bit green when he said no way could i do that.
I need a better knife and sharper hatchet.

Granny you are one tough woman! I couldn't do it.I wouldn't hesitate to get them put out of their misery if very badly injured or dying however I couldn't do it myself.Having only 6 they're halfway between pets and egg layers.I've seen my father cut a chook's head off plenty of times when i was a child.

A vinagar flush is where I mix up sme vinagar and water put it in a big syringe and gently flush it into the vent, I filled it three times which was quite a bit. When you do this the fluid may or may not come back out.
She was her old self the next morning.

Peastix, I was making that post about the same time you were telling everyone you are a vegan. LOL Thats why I said bad timing. It doesnt bother me to clean them but i have to be in a mood. It does however bother me to cull ones I raised from baby and there is nothing wrong with them . I just simple done have a space for him. Havent heard from Dottiesmum in a few days.

BYC is still looking for pictures for next years calendar. Who was it on here not too long ago I told you should submit your pic . ? was it you Camping ? They are doing 2 calendars this yr. chickens and a new one, other fowl.

He is so cute! And pretty! Maybe someone would take him as a pet not breed. I have read some people fixing this with a clip on the beach to hold it straight as it grows.
