You are an angel too.     Kids don't have a lot of control in their lives, and when someone shows them true love, it creates a safe haven in a stormy world.  It's the best thing you can do to honor your step dad, pass on the gift he gave you to these children, and I can guarantee they will grow up and keep it in their hearts to pass on again.  That you give this love freely and gratefully makes it all the more powerful.  You are a wonderful person, Billy, and I'm glad I got to know you. 

That's sweet of you to say. I'm no Angel but my step dad did show me lots of love and I know that's where I picked it up. All children need to feel wanted and love no matter who it comes from. And I'm enjoying every minute of it. It helps me too to feel needed. We're all good for each other.

Angels aren't perfect, but what they do is make a positive difference in a person's life.  You are doing that.  You ARE an angel.

I love you too ! I thought we raised the roof pretty good ! LOL Robert came out after an hr. or so and first thing he said was,Hey the sink isnt dripping !

He had no clue what had happened.

Dont ask me how but my coffee pot was full of popcorn ceiling this am. I scrubbed it best I could but if I didnt get it all I am hoping the plaster will re-harden when it reaches my other end .

Morning. Warm here, so windows are open all night and the dawn chorus wakes me before the cockerels. Unfortunately, we have had a bunch of bully crows move in this month, so instead of dulcet bird song, I awake to caw wars. Hoping the jays and mockers will combine forces and make those crows behave.


Granny, you feeling any better at all? That nightshade med from the dr should be kicking in a little if it's going to work at all. Hope you slept well after your wonderful surprise yesterday!

I guess hot water was shooting up that far! Good thing there was someone on hand to fix it; could've easily been more than the coffee pot full of ceiling!

I felt a little bit better a couple days ago but that hasnt changed since then. I think the pain isnt as severe maybe. Hard to tell. I am not getting any better thats for sure.
Whites, I never seen anything like it ! Reminded me of a volcano erupting . LOL and I am gonna stop that with my hand. hahaa I am so dense sometimes. Im afraid I am not very good in emergencys.
