voice of reason in my head, anyone ever own a mountain cur dog ? They are coon dogs. I have been offered one. It is a farm dog ,outside dog, wont leave property. timid side, very beautiful brindle colors, wont jump, good with everyone. I had the screen on my house ripped out 2xs and something good sized is sleeping in the edge of the woods by the chickens. I have some barn cats 3 that 2 could be rehomed they are friendly, love kids. Not sure that would make up food difference.

York, Its excuses she makes when i do ask.

I dont know if i can say this and make sense .york, I talked to you for 2 days according to your days but only one according to mine.
Someone is trying to get that woman to ship those birds, said she would buy them all if she will..

Don't be pressured into buying them, you have to do what's right for you and the animals you already have.

I'm not sure on the days thing, it could be because I have it set in my preferences on Greenwich mean time or right now on British summer time :idunno
Where did you read these 2 differing times? Sometimes if I'm just snooping and not posting I have it set so I'm not showing as online, could it be that? Let me change back to showing online to see.

You make some excuses for her next time she wants something doing!!

I guess my voice of reason dont know what to say either.

It did just occur to me if I dont need those cats why do I have them? thats probably $16 a month I pay in cat food.

:yuckyuck

The owner down at the yard where I keep the horse thought this too and rehired lots of cats and got rid of kittens too and has more that halted her cat food bill. The cats that are left are still keeping the mice and rats under control so there was no need to have them all.
My last cat I only have because I felt sorry for her at the yard as was a runt. Didn't think she would make the winter so I brought her home. I didn't need another cat.

ay my 3am this morning then the last post before that. it was the same day to me. we talked on here. I knew you had that turned off. dont matter to me. I just found it funny how our time difference can make a day difference.
I do want at least one hen would love them all. Might make an offer to her for seramas. If my step daughter can even come now. As far as the dog, I just want her.

Whenever I see a cute puppy, DH always tells me "there will always be cute puppies." And it's true. So, there will always be other polish. It sounds like a really good deal, but not on top of the other troubles you've had and the possibility of a new pup.

Personally, I don't know if I could pass on the pup. But lucky for me DH is the voice of reason. Sometimes he's a buzzkill, but he's the reason we have a big beefy savings account on a "ministry" salary.

Do you know if it's been around chickens? I know you said farm pup, but around here that just means livestock and not poultry. Not sure what it means for you. Where will it live in the winter? If you have a lot of farms around it probably would be easy to rehome some barn cats. Are they good mousers? You might end up with more trouble without them.

Anyway, that's me being the voice of reason. :hugs How'd I do? :D

she is about a year or so old. she is with chickens and dont bother them . As far as winter on the coldest of nights she would be in the house . normally when outside dogs are brought in they wont poop in the house. after a year of being outside anyway. I have covered front porch, back deck (fenced) 3 igloos .
