I get to be the baby sitter! Sandwiches for lunch. doing a bit of cleaning up in the house and coops. Still dripping rain here today.

The campers saw Ruby hop off her nest and were completely amazed that she laid 7 eggs at once! So I used that teachable moment to explain the cycle of eggs and broodiness. They're coming back tonight after dark and I'll candle eggs for them.

Yep. Cinnamon rolls. I didn't take pics, but I'll go find some. The staff met me early for coffee and training. They're really impressive kids. Cheery and polite, no sass or back talk. They ask questions if they don't understand and take correction well. It's going to be such a good summer!

   I've been a stalker  lurker for so long I feel I know u guys, so if it's not too odd, coming from a semi-stranger, I'd like to send out thoughts and prayers for those w/recent family problems.
   Condolences for: Red on the loss of your dear uncle. MC on the loss of your BIL. Newfie on the unspeakably tragic loss of your dear son.
    Prayers for continued healing for:  Danna, your Aunt. Twist, your niece's arm. Mare, your daughter's noggin. Mackenzie, your ribs?chest muscles? Red, Wishing, Lisa, your aching backs. Papa Paul & Sue ALL your health issues. Granny and family, ALL of your health issues. Lindalouly, for ALL your health issues. Danna for your hands. Enola for Mike's health issues.
     Condolences for all those who have lost beloved pets and chickens especially: Tippylou for Callie and the littles. York for Kipper. Newfie for your dog and cat who should have been there to hug you and absorb your tears.

       These are the more recent things that CRS allowed me to recall. Anyone left out was purely unintentional.
