surviving a YAK MUGGING

So getting stuff put away for the evening last night and taking equipment back to quoncet. I thought I would feed they yaks hay before I put the bobcat away. Drive up to gate , get out of bobcat open gate (no yaks to be seen) drive thru gate , out of bobcat again close gate, drive to the leanto of the dairy barn when hay is stored, out of bobcat , open door , drive to room with hay and grab a big grapel full, exit and drive thru that paddock and up and over to where the hay feeder is/ dropping bits of hay cuz I got greedy and grabbed to much , put in the hay in the feed. Head back to the hay barn to close door. Get passed by 5 galloping yak cows and 2 calves., Babies and most cows stop at the bunch of hay dropped in first paddock. But Comet and Star run in to hay barn , chase Comet out with bobcat and to into room with the hay and there is Star buried in the hay munching away, Grab a small grapel full of hay and then use the bobcat to attempt to drive Star of out room and then building, She got to the outside door and then decides to try to get back in building and we have a "Mexican standoff" finally after being gently pooked a few times with the bobcat she finally turns around flips up her tail and gallops off. Dump second grapel of hay in the paddock to keep the rest from running back in building, drive over to door , get out of bobcat close door, then drive over to gate, out of bobcat open gate drive thru then out of bobcat and close and lock gate. Drive up to quoncet and get out of bobcat for the last time

Getting in and out of the bobcat is a royal PITA as you need to have some excellent limbo moves to do so.

Mornings, Thanks for all the congrats. I hope I get to see her soon. she is in Fl.
I went and picked chicken boy up last night . I have a new serama this am and seen the after effects of a motorcycle wreck. Not much left of the bike. involved with a suv.

Granny and Red her is the menu of ouer BYC meeting
Starters
1.A big and spicy shkshooka with some delicious goat cheese and thous wonderful Sally project eggs.
2. A big spaghetti bolnase with venison and fresh basil
3. Grouper " harymi" a spicy Libian fish dish with tomatoes and garlic wonderful spices and "filfl chouma "
Main corse
4. Home made lamb and beef hamburgers with lemmon grass
5. Home made fish burgers
6. Muscovy brest with the skin, seared on the plancha - hot plate, with home made plum sauce
7. Deboned roosters filed with spinach mushrooms and garlic on the grill
8. A big venison stew Libian style
Side dish
9. A big Arabian salad with Tahini
10 lettuce and basil italian salad with calamata olives and anchovies
11 steemd fresh green pees and been with fresh home nade mayonnaise
Desserts
12 fresh fruits, nuts and almonds.
13. Italians coffe
Water ,wines ,beers and freshly baked spellt rolls all the time!
Now all that is lefet is choosing the places and the time!

Count me it! I will bring some watermelon for #12. No cooking needed!

It's tough taking care of those babies! And I bet she's trying to take care of mom too.
