ran to the store today and bought the yaks new "earrings and the machine to attach them. and then proceeded to puncture myself getting the tool out of the bag

The "system" for the calves is going to be the first intial of their name then mom's and the dad's and the year born. So Tibbits is TEP16

How are you ratt ?

Not good. It was 104 degrees here yesterday. And I lost 4 chicks. I think they are getting through the fence and my dogs are eating them. Can't find any trace of them. They are about 4 weeks old and can still get into the dog area. Usually they run back but I don't know where 4 chicks disappeared to. Only 99 today but it is miserable hot.

I should, but Marzetti is the best. It is the thickest (not the sugar free kind though) and takes forever to remove. Especially chilled. If I ever bother to make my own again, I may be able to make it thick enough, but... Shutting up!
