mornings, I dont have my eyes opened. This getting up with the birds is for the birds. LOL Put a few more eggs in my basket. then put them in the hottest part of the bator. I know at least on is ok as it had done the external pip. These new babies are so cute I am thinking of throwing rocks at my old ones. except for my favorites that is. I have a few.

Morning granny. Don't use rocks, you'll bruise the meat

I didnt let them work the stiffness out . LOL the meat bird was tougher then my old roo. both made into soup. I guess I didnt let them sit long enough.

yes, thats what I did wrong. I still have one in the freezer I also didnt let set. It got cleaned and went straight to the freezer. Its over 7lbs. I was going to do the beer can up the butt but It has been recommended now to cook it in a bag. It will probably stay in the freezer til its thrown out.

Why not make stock out of it? My wife did that with my old roo. Boiled it for like 10 hrs, pulled all the meat off the bones and chopped it up for chicken pot pie (it was really good), then she boiled the bones with some veggies for another 10-12 hrs and made her own chicken stock that she can use in everything.
