I ended up with 44 eggs from papas poultry. I don't even have enough room in my turners. I will have to turn 12 by hand. It should be quite an interesting variety of chicks when they hatch. I am going to have yo get some way to mark them. I just hope my polish hatch. I heard they are a little harder to hatch. Granny do you have any tips.

I havent noticed any difference with them hatching compaired to others. @Yorkshire Coop
has a ton of 100% hatches with polish.

I too have not had any trouble with hatching polish. Good temp, good humidity and watch those air cells and you should be good with them
To be quite honest I've had more trouble with other eggs that I have hatched

5.1 and 5.2 not that far from us...maybe 30 miles or so.

Nothing like being woken up wondering *** was going on. Apparently now there's been five. Only felt the first two though

Try a pack of those little o-ring looking things, in assorted colors. They're made for just what you're wanting to do. Googling "chick marking" should produce something.

For marking chicks I picked up a package of these from walmart. Can either be a one person or two person job putting one on a chicks leg. Just remember to check on them periodically so they don't get to tight.
