Will they show him the ropes? I added a cockerel to my girls once, they tried to pick a fight with him, they lost.

I got a feeling they will teach him some manners. the only roo in there now is a mean serama so it might get hurt.

Mine ain't a mean roo (well he doesn't constantly try to kill you cause he's been kicked for that) but he'll keep an eye on you thats for sure.

we tried every other roo I have over there yesterday and the girls whipped them all. this guy is big . kind of defeats the purpose of getting him though.

I wont keep a mean roo . there is too many nice ones. but tolbunt is sure hard to come by.

he would be breeding my laying hens , not the tolbunt hens. If i can get rid of a bunch of layers I could put my tolbunt over there with him but they are very gentle.
