Don't do it if it's over 100. They can't regulate their temp.

It hasn't hit 100 yet...but I'm sure it will

I was thinking about keeping them in a few more weeks BUT the time is coming where I am going to have to put them out and I thought if I put them out sooner they would get used to the heat??

I was worried about you, Kiki... Glad you are on.
Worried?

how sweet!

I just stay really really busy and haven't had time to chit chat these last few days!

haha!!!
my girls are only a week old and Im almost ready to kick them out!

I am cleaning "their room" 3 times a day!
I have never used so many darn napkins in my life!

Can I start using the shavings already?
They poop too much!

Yes!!! Use shavings and put them in seperate tote boxes.

I have a four box motel going on here.....there is plenty of room for them.
I cut out the sides of the boxes and put them all together...
its about 5 feet by 5 feet big..(It's probably too big for them)....I have been just using paper towels on the floor, but I am constantly changing them...I hate to see poop.

I'm guessing that I can start them with the shavings and not have to change paper towels so **** much!

Thanks!

Wishing, Did you see my bug ? Not sure why I would be excited over an aphid . LOL It was very pretty. and close to my tomatoes .
I did! It looks like a little fairy! Never seen one either and was looking them up.

Quote: Regular non fuzzy aphids will go on tomatoes.
Were you finding those huge tomato hornworms?

Monarch caterpillars look like this, but can't survive on tomato plants.

Quote: Good. I was going to ask about that next. The talons are razor sharp, so she should let the pros take care of it.
