Okay.. So just had a one on one with my dad. Explained the ashtray situation and sibling ashtray. He gets it. He's not angry at me. He is pretty sour with my siblings but nothing will get done about that.

Anyway enough of that. How is everyone?

sorry you had a rough day. Mine was kinda bad too. My favorite lap sitting hen looks like she's trying to poop but little comes out. She's not egg bound. Pearl and I both checked. I gave her a drop of mineral oil hoping that will loosen things up. Any other ideas?

That's the best I would think... She's older so I'm not sure what she could have gotten into. Lots of water.

She might be trying to lay a soft egg. They get weird when they do that.

All my hens that laid a soft egg acted weird and weren't quite right until they got it out.

I hope she'll pass what ever it is tomorrow. I know she's at least two and a half years old. I hope things just aren't shutting down. But I know it'll happen sooner or later. Why is it always my favorite one? And it's never an extra roo.
