I think Comet is going into season already. Baby is only about 2 weeks old.

I got a good look at Star's back side this evening. as she was swishing her tail around.

It is all poofy and swollen and I saw pink, not sure if there was discharge or not.

Got to watch Granny for a bit as well and I am pretty sure she is in the family way as well.

That would put me at 5 for 5.


I got them a tub of 2 different types of licks... came to $260.00 including the $10.00 per tub deposit. The tubs are made out of 1/2 of an oil type drum.

Wow. So much for salt licks? They must have put gold in them!

Still having a hard time believing those hens killed all those chicks. You need a game cam.

True! Maybe skip a cycle. Any signs from the other females?

a 40 or 50 pound of salt with either minerals /sulfur/copper/plain funr about 7.50 to 10.00 each and I have those out there.

The licks are supposed to help with virility and lactating mothers keep cows in better condition and some pest control.

That's a big tub! So maybe worth it it! You will see in their coats if it is working!
