I am disabled. my bones are collapsed with nerve encroachment. failed surgery on my foot. arthritis through my whole body. I can keep going but it dont matter.

Chick question.

I have been taking my 2 week old chicks outside to play each evening.

Last night one of them scared the poo out of me...I really almost started freaking out.

It was about 7:30 pm...hot as heck still. They were out playing for about 10 minutes when one decided to just lay down on it's side. I just watched it and after a few minutes of laying there I got nervous so I tried to pick it up to stand and it would just FALL OVER.
Now I am totally freaking out.
I try to keep standing it up for a few minutes and notice that it kept one leg real close to its body.

I put it down, turn around to grab the box to load them back up to bring back inside and when I turned back around it was running and playing just like the others.


Any ideas of what the heck she was doing?
