I went back to bed. DH woke me up about 20 minutes ago. Had no idea I'd been sleeping that long. Still feel sick. We don't have any migraine meds so I'm stuck taking Tylenol.

:(   why did he wake you ? Isnt sleeping good for migraine ?    Have you been outside ?  I hope you feel better soon.  :hugs

Been to the farm twice. The heat hits like a ton of bricks. He just asked if I had a plan. We're supposed to leave tonight, but I might push it til morning.

I was going to say that. I don't think they will survive without the corid, and if they did, it is destroying their intestines. They will never be right.

Can you get some medicated feed? I only use it for the first few weeks, and alternate with non medicated. I have most of a small bag left. Wish I could get it to you, but they will be gone. It's more preventative anyway.
they have had corrid for 2-3 days now. they have about a pint of water left that is treated. I guess I could go to town and get some but I think its too late. I would like to treat the other babies in the coop though. Corrid or feed ?

Granny did you read what nubbard posted. It's a natural remedy for what your chicks have.

who is watching the farm for you ? someone experienced with goat birth ? Hun, Its probably a combo of stress and heat causing this one. what about urgent care for them pills ? Hate to think of you in so much pain. Your so young.

Ha, I'm not experienced in goat birth.

It's not so bad. :hugs I should've taken something last night when it started but I didn't. I'm eating, then I'll take something else. It's still dark, quiet, cool in the house.

Quote: If they already have symptoms, corid is better. The feed has such small amounts, it works as a preventative, not a cure.

Quote: It's the same old thing- garlic and ACV. This stuff is very good for keeping strong immune systems. It is not good for helping with a bad overload of protozoa. They talk about epsoms salts and cinnamon as a "cure", but epsoms salt is serious laxative and will clean out their systems. I doubt they'd be strong enough to survive it. The corid is the best thing. Amprolium does not enter the chicken's system, just acts as a thiamine blocker to the coccidia and kills them.

DH and four staff are staying and watching the farm. One has raised goats for years. And DH has all our farm friend numbers. And I've lost all hope in Roxie.

Don't cry camping.

She looks like she's getting ripe, but not about to burst. Little more time. Have you felt or seen the kid(s) moving around in there? What does the camper with goat experience say?

OK it says, cinnamon and Epson salt in feed doesn't say how much, apple cider vinegar, garlic and brewers yeast but doesn't say where to use or how much. So I guess that's not much help.
