Who's idea was it for him to visit? He seemed pretty content at his granny's.

Finally back! Did you miss me? Never mind, I sure missed y'all! Question? Do baby roosters bump chests with chickens, or just pullet's? Are baby roos called Roos? I just can't 'member what Grand Dad called 'em.
Hi Ellena! Glad you're back. Both sexes chest bump as chicks. Rooster under a year is called a cockerel.

Good evening all

Well what I did to the "maternity ward" for the chicks is working all 7 still fine. But Talked to Robert tonight and now 3 very elderly Brahama hens are missing their heads. I still think its the other hens. As the fencing on the maternity ward is just higher and still chicken wire from the ground up.

Star is still in the running with Roxie as to who can hold out the longest

Okay, you have to get some sort of a camera set up because I am having trouble believing chickens are eating the heads off of other chickens. It's too creepy to even think about! Feather picking, yes. Picking at a wound, yes. Decapitating a flock mate??? How? And where are the heads? How can they eat them? The beaks too? I'm going crazy just thinking about it!

You've got weasel or bird of prey or some predator. Either that or you have some zombie chickens and the end is near.
