I used to leave mine on the stove too. I loved chorizo with scrambled eggs and I much rather use tortilla then toast. I would keep it burning for meals so we always had warm bread.

Happy 4th everyone. Came home for a couple hours to put my feet up and catch up here. Promptly fell asleep. And my feet still hurt!

Due back at sis's house in half an hour. Going to have burgers, dogs, and/or pulled pork, plus a few other yummies. Then we will do our own fireworks in the street. And then sweep up! Hope everyone had a splendid day!

Happy 4th to everyone, feels like I've been gone a decade. Will be hiding the WiFi hotpot from gd now that our data renewed today. She blew through hers & ours by mid month this past month, hence my MIA from BYC. Hope you all have enjoyed a good day with family & friends. We had grandsons all weekend, just got them dropped off 2 hours ago. The baby was pretty fussy with cutting teeth & the 2 1/2 year old thinks he's an army Sargent & NO is his favorite word at the moment. It will take me a week to recover, lol. 14 year old gd has been here 3 weeks already. Really missing my morning quiet time. Love my grandkids to death, but some days I wanna run away. Gd is working at our local ice cream shop this summer so I'm driving her back and forth to work. Wish her boss would schedule her for more than 3 hours a day. Feels like I stop working to run her to work, just get home & start back working and then it's time to pick her back up grrr..... Thanks for letting me unload, it's been a hectic week. Going to go read for a bit, then off to bed. for everybody
