You know about that too! Was just going to mention that. Embryo split and developed twins, but they didn't completely separate, so kind of a mishmash of parts with one dominant body part. Hard to believe the one with 2 vents could survive.

I did it!  All caught up on 18 pages and I didn't fall asleep!      Beautiful jungle garden pictures.  Ours is so dry.  Nothing looks right.  Going to get a huge load of compost next year.  We put all this work into it and get very little back.  I think it's the soil.  There is a lot of rocky fill here. or they graded down past the good topsoil or something.  It's terrible.  Rck hard   the summer.  I want to empty the raised beds and put in pure compost.  Next year!

Yes we got lucky. Had compost from chickens. Hubby just through it in there. I bought a few plants and boom. Of course we also have a well.

CB cleaned out the coop couple weeks ago and we put it all under the peach tree. OMG It stinks to high heaven. and way closer to the house. Full of flys. LOL
