you would think there should be some kind of guarantee or maybe some place you can report them so others don't get taken advantage of.

This was a eon own place this time with good reviews. I guess not everyone keeps there birds and stores eggs like me. I'm OCD with things and go to the extreme.
I can NOT seem to get re-hydrated :barnie   so far 2-12 cup post of coffee,   2 cokes,  1 16 oz can of rockstar recovery  and  working on my 2 nd quart of country time lemonaid.

Yes it was a "little" hot out there today  setting the railroad ties and humping around 60 lb bags of cement

Try some plain old water :D

NO can do I honestly get sick as a dog if I drink plain water,   Have actually drank glass upon glass of it and then turned around and it all came right back up.   on multiple occasions.  or I get dizzy(er) and fall down.   I have a weird body workings.

Gatorade, powerade, or those little "flavor enhancers" that you just shoot in the water. We've had some real hot days that I've worked in this year. I need to look it up, but I was told once that caffeine blocks rehydration somehow? I know cokes have lots of sodium. A powerade and a bag of pretzels got me back on my feet after that first day in New Orleans.

Quote: I like the all flock too, but this week I bought cheaper food to put in the hanging feeders. I still have 2 bags of All Flock for the fermented feed I make. These dang beast have been goin thru 4-#50 bags of feed a week. Grr... I hate cheap feed though, because then my ISA's (Cinnamon Queens) start eating everyone. They are the most horrible production birds out there.

and That is EXACTLY what I have been claiming about my dead/missing chickens that the Cinamon Queens were doing it and NO ONE believes me.
Holy cow! You do have brain-eating zombie chickens!!

What changed, do you think, to have them start doing this? Just got a taste of the chicks and couldn't stop? What a horrible thing. The dark side of chickens. I still can't believe they eat the beaks.

Quote: Poor Harry! Maybe from all the rain? Do you have to stop riding him for awhile?

Quote: I was going to suggest the same thing, but don't want him throwing up on me!

Good morning everyone! I finally got some sleep. Feel a whole lot better than I have all week. It's getting busy around here with summer plans and little trips coming up. Next week, sis and I are driving down to Monterey (about 3 hrs south of here) to see the aquarium and go to a Renaissance Faire (got to have the e) a little farther south. Earlier that same morning, hubs and #2 are departing for Maui. #2 is going to try SCUBA. Hubs is certified, but it's been ages since he's gone. My oldest boy didn't want to go anywhere, so he's going to stay home and take care of the critters and the garden, which is wonderful. Makes it a lot easier on me! First time staying by himself, but he's almost 18 so should be fine. Then as soon as #2 gets back from Hawaii, he is leaving for a camping trip up north with his cross country running team. It's about 3 hours north of here up in the redwoods. Should be beautiful, and I volunteered to ferry kids up there and back, but not staying. Lots of driving for me in next couple of weeks. And #2 has to be ready for both trips by Wed! He got his tent out last night and slept out back last night to make sure everything was in order!

Good morning wishing :frow

Thanks on Harry, yes I can still ride him :D He's not lame from it but if left it could have caused lameness in the future. Sometimes it just stays as it is and other times can cause problems. There really is no way to tell so I'm glad the new farrier wanted to get it sorted just incase.

Yeah no throwing up here please from twist! :sick

Wow sounds like you are all going to be very busy soon there :th

I can imagine you needing one of those great big wall planners! :lau

Whee! Busy busy wishing!

Was oot late last night transferring tools and stuff from hubs old work truck to the new. Landlord -"I thought it'd be bigger". I dunno, it's still plenty big!

And then this am got called out on my mess of a garden (yep. It's fallen by the wayside and had grass take over) so I was out pulling grass from there. Not done yet but got a bunch of the worst out. Just needed a water break. Should eat something too...

And the mutt just got the hubs up...and sparkles is of course just outside the kitchen door wanting in lol

Tap tap tap.... Let me in!!!!!

Once the worst is out it should not seem so bad. Think I'm going to be able to cut my grass for hay soon! With all the rain it's never dry enough to mow :(

Yes!  And hubs just told me he has to go to LA when they get back.  :th    (Los Angeles-  for work)

Another addition for the planner!
