That makes sense for dairy cows. Poor little things don't have much of a coat for a Minnesota winter. Brrrrr.... The dairy near here seems to have babies in spring when the grass is green. They are so cute. Most babies are cute. Except baby vultures. Those are ugly.

x 2 and not much better when adults.

Ever walked under a vulture roost or nest?

every time I hear someone mention roosters crowing I think of my mom. She was the one that started us in chickens , so she could hear them crow.
I have told you all about my moms dreams, she was a seer . She had a particular dream for a death coming. including her own. Her, aunt, mother, father, GS, sister. probably more but always the same dream.
I went to bed last night very depressed because of this pain and was thinking of her and how I would love to see her again.
This is her dream. There were a lot of people around like a family reunion and then they would disappear and she would be walking along the river . She would see ( aunt, sister , whoever) on the other side of the river and would wave to them . She tried to cross the river to hug them and could not.
Wishing, You "hoping to see Tom " brought chills to me.

No, I had to run outside for a sec to ask hubs something.

The part about hoping to meet Tom was when I was waking up. I was bummed because we didn't really talk except to say hi when the birds started in and I was trying to stay in the dream because I wanted to see if you could guess who I was. Then after I knew it was not going to happen, I thought, darn, I won't get to meet Tom or see Robert or CB. Rivers and any body of water are a common theme in dreams, especially mine. No one was on the other side, in fact, there wasn't another side. If hearing crowing precedes a death, my little Seramas have sent many many people off to meet their makers. They've been waking me up every day for months.

The only time I knew when someone died I was awake and very upset. Found out later my grandpa died.

well, at least we werent across the river from each other, we were hugging ! I think I got a message and a hug. Thank you for sharing with me Wishing.

No, but we have a great area littered with owl pellets. After winter rains, it looks like a miniature bone yard.

Used to lay out in the field as a kid to entice the vultures down. They would fly low and look, but never got one to land. My mom found a nest with 3 of the ugliest babis I've ever seen. It was up on a hill on the ground in a find of little hollow under a downed tree branch. Mom would take extra bits of meat up there and leave it out for mama vultch. I thing she even got some liver for her one time.

That's probably it. In the dream you were taller than me because I was leaning my head against your upper arm. I've never really been able to do that with anyone (I'm usually the tall one) and it felt nice.
