Hey all. I have a situation that I need advice on. My ex left over 9 years again. He occasionally messages the boys on fb. On their birthdays but besides that has not seen my kids the whole time. Vinnie doesn't even know him.. He was three when he left. He left me a message saying that he will be back in the middle of august to visit. I'm sure he told the older boys already though I'm not positive. I lived through a lot of heartache with those boys when he left. I don't want to go through again. I don't want Vinnie to feel anxiety or anything about having to meet him but I think thr big boys will want to see him. I don't trust the ex's set of friends or family either. I don't know what to do... I don't want yo upset the big ones either but they will just have their heart broken again. Any advice would be great.

I'm thinking about taking the kids to a skating rink....they have never been.
The rink near us closed down a long time ago...it's not popular anymore to go skating.
I use to go skating ALL the time when I was young.

I picked up some brand new skates a while back at the goodwill...
I tried to skate around the house....I almost killed myself.
I thought skating would be like riding a bike....heck no...it was hard!

A couple of years back we took the staff skating. HILARIOUS. We rented the whole little rink, most of them had never skated. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard.

16 and 15. I have it in our court documents that I have sole custody and legally he has to ask my permission before seeing the kids. HE abandoned the kids and took off now lives in Texas so it was easy to do.
