well if they get caught being "stupid" there are some pretty stiff penalities. Up to and including loss of gun/rifle , loss of vehicle and banned for life from hunting. plus fines and possible jail time.

Good morning all. So yesterday was a complete disaster. Took the family to my mils house to play games. That lady got so drunk she started yelling at me and getting in my face about me going behind her back and talking about her to her sister. I don't talk to her sister... It was weird. So I said you are ********. You talk crazy to everyone and now you are doing it to me the only person that comes and sees you. Devin for the first time flipped out on her. Told her that he doesn't understand why she talks crazy. Told her that is why he doesn't come over with us a lot anymore and then grabbed me and the kids and took off. I have damage control to deal with this week. Fun fun.
We had our share of neglected mares, left to starve in fields or spent far too much time stalled at the track. Cribbing and rocking and head shy, poor things. It would take a couple of years for the worst get over it. My dad always said he was getting a deal on good bloodlines bringing these mares home, but I think he was really rescuing them. We had quite a few refugees over the years. Amazing what a little TLC (and good food) can do.
uffda. NICE that Devin stood up to mom and protected you and the kids. cudos to him.
and for you![]()
That's just flat out criminal. Back in day, cattle thieving was a hanging offense.it is also "funny" how a lot of "stray calves, yearlings" just disappear during hunting season. MOST ranchers bring in their herds just before hunting season. And post their land where the cattle/animals are.

It is tuff to realize that you are more responceible for your kids and wife then parent's part of growing up. even harder to accept that one of them has problems or is just bat chit crazy.

for a number of years George and Earlene would always "lose" one if the nicest and biggest calves. That stopped when they started bringing them up by the house.barns,
