It is! Thank you for asking. Getting better much faster than usual, and I credit the ice pack for that. Never had such a good one I could use easily, but we got a nice large soft one for #2's knee last year, and it's perfect for laying flat on. Still got a ways to go yet, but walking and careful bending are ok. Got some twinges lifting the gallon of milk though.

How are you doing? That salve on your foot any help? Love your long term plan for CB. Especially the lots of hugs part. Did he sleep in the new bed?

thank you ! I am ok, salve very hard to apply. I got my back this morning. Havent done my foot yet. Seemed like it helped my foot some, not my back so far. I realized Tom cant put it on me without rubber gloves . Same meds that landed him in the hospital with kidney, liver and heart failure. Makes me not even want it in the house.
CB has not slept in the bed yet. W cleaned it today and now the fan is drying it. It came from used furniture store so we bleached it. and the whole kitchen, and me, and the dogs dishes, counter,ect....

Good job wishing. Invasive plant. Don t know why it wasn t on LA invasive weed site. Camping lantana berries are very poisonous to kids, pets, & goats. Purple lantana u saw at park was probably verbena

What type of weed is this?

I think it is a type of dock weed. My mom always liked to see dock coming up. Lots of medicinal uses.
Check and see what you think. http://returntonature.us/stalking-the-curly-dock-rumex-crispus/

Just realizing how much my mom would have loved the internet for finding out all this cool stuff. We were always poring over field guides and trying to figure out what was what. Never enough information for us, though. I have most of her field guides mixed in with mine. Trying to get my boys addicted. So far birds and mushrooms are the best for them.

when you say dock do you mean like plantian ? that was my guess or like someone else said, dandelion.

It's different. Plantain has parallel veins. Dock has veins extending of a central line. Definitely not dandelion.
