He chuffles... makes a soft, breathy huffing sound, kind of like when a rooster tries to call a hen to a nest, but a little different. It's very sweet, likes he's trying to tell you all about his day.
Thats good CB. It's a wonderful book. Have you read any in the bible you just got ? Love to read. Used to anyway. fall asleep now. So what was the moral behind the story of Charlotte's web ?
Well, I put my little hen back up by the coop to see what she would do. Hard to judge her behavior in the cage. Gave her some bits of kale, everybody's favorite, and you know what she did... she called the rest of the girls over like a broody mama! She hasn't been sitting, though, she's been staying in the coop on the roost. Ate a few bits of kale, but let the others have most of it. If her crop is still empty at bedtime, I will bring her in for the night.
O M G...someone moved a chair from the dining room into the kitchen while I was in the shower.
My puppy....who has never done anything like this:
Got on the chair and drank/licked all the grease out of the pot on the stove...
it was left over from the night before last.
ALL of it...it had to have been at least three cups!
He has never so much as jumped up to see what was on the counters...I have no idea what the heck he was doing on the chair!
So I googled my issue.....looks like my dummy is not the only one that has done this...makes me feel a whole lot better.
But my poor dog is going to have to sleep outside tonight.
