He was actually saying "farm.""F" sounds are one of his worst. He's better at F at the end of a word (leaF) but he's not good with finishing the final sounds, so there's that. Anyway, just have to be consistent and keep practicing.
ALSO I talked to the teacher briefly yesterday. I had sent a note saying we had explained appropriate behavior, expectations, and punishments with him and asking her to review center rules and procedures (his biggest offenders). She caught me in the car line and said she thinks the biggest trouble is that bubba is following the example of another rambunctious boy. I wish she could see him sit quietly in the car for an hour, or ask me if ducks are endangered. The kids learned about the symbol for endangered species at the zoo; bubba would run ahead to tell us if the next animal was endangered or not. And then we'd talk about why.
Anyway, I still want a sit down meeting. I'll tell her Tuesday.
