Awwww How could anyone give him a red frowny face? He seems to be communicating fine except for articulation. He was really trying to say hall clearly, too. Effort is half the battle! Speech therapist will have some good tricks to help him.

He was actually saying "farm."

"F" sounds are one of his worst. He's better at F at the end of a word (leaF) but he's not good with finishing the final sounds, so there's that. Anyway, just have to be consistent and keep practicing.

ALSO I talked to the teacher briefly yesterday. I had sent a note saying we had explained appropriate behavior, expectations, and punishments with him and asking her to review center rules and procedures (his biggest offenders). She caught me in the car line and said she thinks the biggest trouble is that bubba is following the example of another rambunctious boy. I wish she could see him sit quietly in the car for an hour, or ask me if ducks are endangered. The kids learned about the symbol for endangered species at the zoo; bubba would run ahead to tell us if the next animal was endangered or not. And then we'd talk about why.

Anyway, I still want a sit down meeting. I'll tell her Tuesday.
He sure is a sweetie! I think a meeting with the teacher is a good idea, so she will know a bit more about him. At least she picked up on him following the other kid. He'll probably have her wrapped around his finger by the end of the year!

I got a 3 month old silkie roo today,named him Casper.he is scared of everything must have never been handled..

I take it he's white? Do you have other bantams for him to breed so you can get cute mixes?

I wish!!! I'm not a baker but I try. My mom helped me with that one. The last batch I made wouldn't set. I poured it on popcorn.

ohh that sounds good. Loved when moms fudge failed to set. It didnt happen often but when it did she would get mad and storm out of the kitchen leaving me to "clean up the mess".
