Chickens planting seeds. Mine dodn t do well this year. Too much rain. Only got one edible cantelope.

I have watermelon plants and tomato plants popping up all over the place. I know that wont have time although they are blooming too. I am finding all kinds of stuff since I havent weed whipped. LOL

2 yrs ago we ate one everyday for 3 weeks & gave away many. I put the melons up on coffee cans so they wouldnt stay wet. Too much rain caused vines to die this year. This reminds me to pick butternut squash today.

Yes they run. I kept pulling mine off the green bean trellis.

is that the real big pale yellow ones ? I love squash and dont know a thing about them. LOL Just the yellow long ones I peel , par boil and fry w/onion in bacon grease. makes your hands very sticky.

I plan on making chicken w/ yellow rice today but I dont have chicken broth (I drank it all) and I bought boneless, skinless thighs.

Nope these are orange. U bake them. Add butter. Taste somewhat like sweet potatoes.

oh never had them before. I remember mom baking cushaw ? Is that a squash? I think she used butter and brown sugar. I dont think I tasted it.

This is the first year I have gotten anything out of this dirt and thats the black berrys. I have a lot. I stoped picking them before they were gone. I dont know if the peaches were good or not. . apples tiny with dark spots looks like mold on them, no pears, no grapes nada.
