Wishing, How was the boys birthday? I am going to use your gift for Roberts birthday . I have brownie mix so subs for everyone.

It was fine, very low key. I have a legal adult kid now, but he will always be my surly teenager. Still one b-day to go! He already got his present, though, new computer for school. We'll have whatever he chooses for dinner and dessert, so another low key celebration.

Ragnar is beautiful. I know his face is supposed to be pure black, but I like the blush of red. He has a lovely shape... very pretty tail, like a fountain!


Well, now that I am awake (sort of), I better get up and water before the garden dies completely!

I just read that ducks become mature at 20 to 24 months old. Sounds like she is getting ready!!! That's exciting! Hens get noisy and submissive too when they are about to start laying. She hopefully will settle down for you!

I think she will soon thanks, I made her a little " cave" to b alone in and she likes it.

That would turn me into Scary Grandma. Some things are for the kids, everything else is mine. They don't mess with my stuff.


Hard for those kids to transition into having self discipline when they have never had any external discipline. Hope CB was not involved.
