Everybodys thoughts, 4 month old paint Silkie, I'm thinking hen, no comb development.

4 month old white Silkie, acts like a female, no comb growth, what do you think? Also wondering why wing feathers are curled?

pretty silkies ! Not sure if they are old enough yet but the boys will have streamers on their head/top notch. those dont. wing feathers are normal. looking good.

Thanks granny, my other 2 roos had lots of comb by 4 months & 1 of them crowed at 3 months. Was going to add a couple if pictures of my broody momma Silkie & her 5 chicks, but of course it doesn't want to load them lol

I had a chance to get a better look at the "red sussex". It is single combed, white legs and earlobes, dark red with black but cant tell a pattern. the tail is black . so i guess its a sussex. If i breed it with the swedish flower I might get a speckled looking sussex. haha
