This site has tons of info. Might help you decide. She says there is lots of inbreeding causing problems (think you've already experienced that) and she says there should be no barring used to breed them.

No barring, Not exactly sure what to make of that. Isnt silver laced considered barred ? Lemme go read this.

labor day was the 5th.monday he got it saturday so he has had it 17 days. No new feathers last I looked a few days ago.
