Danna, they are great ! Ive never seen blue girl like that  was it her own pattern? I really like the shelf and will look for one.  I dont understand how the other one works .
Linda, I dont think you are a kitchen kind of girl, any scrap wood laying around there ? Maybe make some cut out and paint them ?

That one was so old. I don't know if it was hers or a pattern. It's never been quilted so delicate I'd be afraid to try.

Okay guys, I need your help. I need to find something to do to keep my mind and hands busy. I can't look at Pinterest on my phone... I was thinking there is something I could be making for my girlfriends for Christmas.. My mind keeps thinking Seahawks aprons but I can't see to save my life. If anyone has ideas please let me in on them. I can't sit and do nothing all day.

You can do anything! Since you're a whiz in the kitchen you could make up dry soup mixes with seasoning packs in cute jars, or those layered cookie/brownie mixes where they just add eggs and bake! You could decorate plain index cards with stamps or little drawings and write out little recipe cards. Those are great gifts that folks love.

yup, or outlines of chickens and add a wing for 3d effect for your chicken friends. maybe one that says spring on it or wicked chickens lay deviled eggs.
