There was some confusion with a newbie on Sally's thread, so just double checking: you're holding the egg POINTY SIDE DOWN and shining the light through the TOP of the egg, right?

Make sure it's a totally dark room with the brightest flashlight you can get your hands on. Phones are great for this.
