Maiah is only 3 so I hope she can/will grow some more. Good grazing and proper medical care should help.

old 19 has a hole in her dewlap/throat that is going to need attention and then raw spots around her eyes supposedly from the skitters this summer. They (skitters) are vicisous we couldn't really even visit with Craig or his family as they were trying to eat us alive.

We hit fog at the state line on the way down and it was to thick in spots you could not see the shoulder of the road This continued all night and morning. Mn does not put signs up on state or local roads mentioning towns up coming or distances.

OMG what a mess called Craig 3 times and then flagged down one truck for directions just to get to Raymond. I had printed out how to get there but lots of road construction and now signs.

Total distance traveled from Midnight on Friday to about 4 pm sat was just a little over 1000 miles. Gas mileage sucked 8.7 empty and loaded. Funny the further east we went the cheaper the gas got.

I got sucked into my chair around 8 ish and heard nothing until I woke up around 2 am then went "to bed' until 8 am.

Between Rod and I pulling all the burr plants we can find and then Yuri and Beth running all over and "capturing" all the seeds/burrs there aren't many left. Yuri will also actually attack/tear up burr plants when he finds them of course usually when the plants are ready to spread their seeds.

You have RESCUED them! They will be like furry Cinderellas going to live in the comfy cozy castle where Prince Scott will take good care of them.

Did you get a discount for the hole in 19's throat??

NO actually didn't even notice it until we got home and then Robert pointed it out. It doesn't seem to bother her "yet" They were pretty laid back and pretty easy to load into the trailer. Janet was not amused about the trip. Every time we stopped for gas/ human potty breaks I would check on them and she had very wide open eye's bit of white all around and would toss her head at you in the "back off" warning threat.

Maiah is defintly the explorer of the group went all around and found the water first and then got the old gals to follow her. All 3 went ape for the green grass, Craig only has a total of 4 acres and a lot more yaks then I have. His 2 month old calf wasn't any bigger then any of mine at birth OR very little. NO grass to speak of , he feeds hay and pellets year round. Only green was all the burr plants.

Vickie got a video of us unloading the girls on her phone after of course I had handed her my camera and asked her to take a video.

So Robert needs to get it from her and then email it to me some how.
