the worst so far since I have lived here is with wind chill -50

Seems like we get a good ice storm once or twice every winter and it is so beautiful but scary as no one is going anywhere . Not even ambulances. We got stuck in the house one winter for 3 days then another 2 before we could drive. Even if they do the roads we cant get out of the drive way. Not being able to open a door even with dogs that need to potty outside is terrible.
