Hi Jane, I just noticed some very pretty blue morning glories climbing up my coop. Is that a no-no ? Should I get them before they seed ?

Gd & i like morning glories. I leave a few to trail up the corn. They are not hard to pull up like cockleburs are.

Oh I love them and these blue are a favorite. I think they are poison to chickens. Depends on who you read.

I've heard that but I am often amazed at how much the chickens ignore the bad stuff.

Or just tear it up but don't eat it.

Seems to me they know whaat to eat. I was feeding mine vetch but thry didnt eat it. Then i read it was poisin for them. They lo ve chickweed.

Mornings, I am up way too early. Had to potty and my bed was soaked from sweat and didnt want to lay in it so here I am.
The GS in the tent is in my chair. Figured he would be but its showing 70 in here without the heat being on so it cant be too cold out. Might have something to do with the horror stories he hear about the bear loose in the proving grounds or bob cats , mountain lions. OH MY !

At least I know he is ok. LOL Of course it will be some manly excuse like traffic or too bright out.

Im sorry about all the ranting yesterday. I did it, erased it and ended up doing it again. I thought I could just pretend everything was ok when it wasnt. Im sure today will be a better day.

5 minutes left to say Good Morning! I will try to get some pictures of the the hand if it makes it back from school in one piece. He worked hard on it... has articulated fingers that bend when he pulls a wire. Pretty cool.

Morning all.

Checking out a place tonight. 2 bath three bed on about half an acre. We shall see...this is the one we're kinda excited to check out. Been on the market a while too so may be able to offer lower.

There was another one that popped up this weekend that would have been perfect - acre and a half, four car garage/shop for hubs - a good 20k above our top end. Dang.

Good luck with the hunting. You may have missed my earlier post for you about the housing bubble about to burst in CA. Might be worth a little research on your part. Your realtor will poo-pah the idea, but he wants his money. Hate to think your new place might be worth significantly less in a few months. Market might be different down your way, but up here, it is totally overpriced.
