It seems whenever granny is MIA for most of the day crazy things like the POPO needing her help catching a rooster happen . Or the posession of a illegal owl, or stripping at the side of the road to get a supposed bee out of her shirt etc, etc

I am currently fermenting wheat for mine. My dh thought he would save some on feed when I sent him to buy feed. So instead of 2 bags of feed he got 1 and 50 lbs of wheat. My free rangiing ones barely touch it. I may ferment chick starter for my babies. I am using large plastic mayonnaise containers w/lid. No bucket involved.
