I have a confession.

I had to buy eggs yesterday.

And I got the most expensive ones.

I'm just a sucker for good packaging. And look at it! There was also a tiny newspaper inside the carton that gave an update on the flock.

I paid $9 for a gallon of milk and a dozen eggs. :barnie
That's a good thing, hubby can see that its not a good thing to down size your flock lol

The eggs were fine. Scrambled, which is my least favorite. Yolks were round and firm, nice dark shades. Regular cheap nasty eggs were $3.50 a dozen, so $4.97 seemed worth it for better quality and a system I can support.

Ben got after my guineas. I don't think he was trying to kill them. But they can definitely fly high!

Can you spot the guinea waaaaaay up there? That's where they LANDED. I was shocked. But I was glad to see that the flew back to the house instead of deeper into the woods.

I'm hoarse from hollering at that big dummy. Previous owner said he was trained with a shock collar. Thinking I might need to invest... We have an old one that doesn't really work, but maybe it could fake him out enough.

Camping they make shock collars that will also emit a tone instead of a shock. With abby she gets the tone first and then if she doesn't listen a zap. After a couple times all you should need is the tone.

Oh no that stinker. Glad the birds didn't take off on you.
