No not hostage in the kitchen today, just necessity. DD bought a small ham for me to make split peas

That sounds so delicious! Yummm. split pea. chicken noodle, potato. If you'll type in your address, I think I can make dinner on Fri! Too hot for soup here just yet. Use it or loose it is my specialty! Biscuts: When DH and I were dating, I went to his house to impress him with my baking skills. Strawberry shortcake. He had stuff unmarked in the pantry. Bisquick biscuits. Well, I used salt instead of sugar for the biscuits!  Proudly handed him a bowl...he had the funniest look, but hey. I took a bite of mine, it tasted like strawberries on fritos.

It was horrible, sinuses were so plugged so didn't smell it when I shook it on the cooking oatmeal, but I surely tasted it yuck!

no, I was not here. LOL DD got a hold of me bad sick. thinks she has blockage ,ect... I think i was mean but i told her to call an ambulance . she lives an hour from me . their van is still down. I did tell her to not worry abot a way home i would come get her. she decided she would wait .
