Not sure what DD did to DS while she had him up North, but I came home tonight to find that he had CLEANED THE KITCHEN -- all on his own, no prompting from anyone! Granted, since he has never actually cleaned the whole kitchen (unloading the dishwasher is one of his regular chores and he puts his dishes in after meals, but he's never done the rest of it), it's done the way a 14 year old boy would clean a kitchen, but I am NOT complaining!
The funniest part was just now he came out to get a drink and I hear this exasperated sigh followed by, "I *just* cleaned this kitchen" as he looked at the mess from dinner since I hadn't gotten it cleaned up again. Welcome to my world, son...........

Can I send my boys to stay with your DD, PLEEEEEZE!!!!

Hope everyone is alright and all critters back where they belong. BTW- hope I'm following this right, when my hair started coming back I had gone from strawberry blond to ash blond and silver grey, whoopee.

We are having our first real S N O W of the season tonight. I know I'm probably a bit "off" but I love the smell of the air and the wet leaves just before the first real snow of the fall.

I LOVE that wet leaf smell. Was just talking typing about it the other day. Lived in NJ until I was 6. Really miss that smell.

my tail feathers are dragging tonight. Got to sleep late and then out of bed grabbing the rafters due to leg , foot and toe cramps 4 different times. I don't mind the toe crpams if they pull my toes towards my knees as my toes a re double jointed so no pain just walk funny.

well I did miss a couple days of not having milk and then I think maybe walking in the loose dirt in the garden yesterday taking care of the pumpkins and squash. Love taters. no night sweets the past couple weeks.
