What is the difference in flock raiser, grower and layer? I'm feeding grower, rolled oats ($5. per bag cheaper than grower) and alfalfa for protein and greens. I got 10 eggs today for the first time...  

Layer has added calcium for layers. Don t feed it to under 6 momth olds or it will cause joint and kidney problems. I feed grower to pullets chicks and cockeriels.
