camping, its raining here first time in a while. dont need to look me bones tell me.

We got heavy rains thru the night last night. Looked out the kitchen window & the birds were out drinking out of the mud puddles in their run. No sense of running out to let the silkies out unless it looks like its going to clear off. I'm holding back feed today as well because I'm going to worm all of them tomorrow morning. They will have what's on the ground, but I will take the hanging feeders out of the coops shortly.

some drool  I have seen cattle also use their tongues to clean/pick their noses  get their tongues right up in there to. 

They are wquite adept at cleaning their genitals with their tongue, too!

I'm sure you don't have to, but I've read a few articles that recommend it. Just makes it easier to get the medicine to the worm source if their crop is not crammed full of feed. So going to try it this way. Never have pulled feeders before.

trying to get Lily out this morning to pee and she decided she wasnt going. I decided she was. fly swat in hand I went after her. I chased that stupid dog all over the house for 10 min.

well, she wasnt the stupid one i was but anyway . determined to get her out before she peed . the porch was wet so she didnt want to go. Now I realize the leash would of been the thing to use here but before coffee the swat was closer . Guess how that ended ?? she peed the floor because she was scared and running from me. I probably just put her back to step one.

My new EE I thought was sick . I have discovered she is chicken. past 3 days when i go in the coop she is in the rafters . figured cocci so I brought her down and sure enough she has lost a lot of weight. sat her on the floor and she ate like she was starved. (she was) she probably been sitting up there the whole time. I had to shoo the others away so she could eat. they all gave her a peck on the head.

Sounds like you need a couple feeding stations. So if she's getting bullied at one she might be able to feed at the other station. That's what I have to do.

I have 3 . they just want to know about her. the white polish fit right in. they came at the same time. they are head pecks to feel her out i guess. their not hungry.
