how weird do you all think it is that he wants that coat? I find it very strange myself knowing him as i "think" i do. Leather on a clothing sensitive person ? bet he dont even know what it feels like or he has no intention of wearing it. this is the kid i had to cut all tags out of his clothes because they touched him. refused socks because the seam touched his toes and hurt him. :idunno

Hi Granny, how old is your son if you don't mind me asking? I have to cut all the tags off clothes myself or the bother the hell out of me. Sorry didn't realize you didn't know abv, I don't know many. I have 1 leghorn, 3 Isa Brown, 5 Easter eggers, 2 Barred Rock, 3 Welsummer, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Cochinn mixes, not certain what, they have feathers on their feet is all I know. 4 barnyard mixes, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 White Chantecler Roo & 1 Sicilian Buttercup roo.

I am an open book. you can ask me anything and i promise to tell the truth. he is 21 . I also have a daughter that is 33? she was born in 81 so 33 right? LOL she has giving me 6 grandsons whew ! your chickens sound nice. the buttercup is a nice one i have heard.

when i was first aware of chickens there were 2 kinds, the laying kind and the eating kind. LOL my son is autistic in case you were wondering why i still do his shopping and such.

Wow! You got the duster and the Christmas sweets! What a great day, especially the fudge.

Finding a busted egg in your pocket is no big deal when you have a happy son and delicious treats. Maybe the pie type thing is a tart?

Your too funny, I love my Sicilian Buttercup roo, he was a free McMurray Hatchery rare breed this Spring. I have the laying & eating kind too. If the rooster isn't nice to me or my granddaughter he becomes Sunday dinner lol. Just made a huge pot of chicken & rice soup tonight with an ornery roo. I thought I had read on a earlier post that your son had health issues, that's got to be hard.

I have 2 daughter's, 1 is almost 30 & the other is 28. My oldest gave me 2 grandkids, a 12 old granddaughter & a year old grandson. Love those little buggers to death. My daughter was very young when she had my granddaughter, so I've been very involved in her upbringing.

A lot of us granny have been involved in the up bringing of our grandchildren. that hands down had to be the hardest thing i ever did in my life was to say no. my underage daughter crossed state lines with an older man. I put a warrant out for the both of them. she called me from her grandmothers house and told me she was pregnant at 17 yrs. he was in his 30s . I dropped the charges and they have been married now for 17 yrs. i believe. I fed the children and made sure they had what they needed but that was as far as i would go. they still have nothing. I have mellowed a lot now and offered them to come here. we will see.

whats that song ? Hes not heavy, hes my brother ........love chicken and rice. the yellow kind. i have only ate one of my roos and it was tough !!!

ya my Roos have been tough too, hence soup. We were given a couple of meat birds, now those are good. I hate having to butcher the Roos I can't get rid of because they are tough. Wall just telling Hubby I needed to get a small pressure cooker to cook the meat down so it is mire tender.
