So I think I'm being played by a miss sparkles nugget. When I go to tuck the girls in the coop and run at the end of the day, she refuses to go in, no matter how much chicken crack is in there. So I have to hand feed her some crack, pick her up and put her in there...

She's at the bottom of the pecking order so I can see how she doesn't want to go in while there's feeding frenzy but still! Dangit sparkles nugget! Then she'll get in there and run along the fence line chattering discontentidly.

My one hen is spoiled. She insists that I hand feed her. She sits there and watches me pull grass and then I have to feed it to her. She runs to me every time I walk out the door . When I have a piece of ham in my hand to give to one of the mutts, she runs up beside me and jumps to snatch it out of my hand. She almost jumped in pearls plate for some hamburger helper.
