Craigs list is the only suggestion I have. Maybe contact the 4H group near you. When my young roosters start crowing, I only use the breast, thighs and legs. Makes some wonderful soup when Mike gets done with them.

I dont know how to do craigs list and its not close to me. I have looked at ads on there and it seems like the closest people that use it are indy and louisville . the whole bird including legs are fist size. they just got their feathers in. no one i can find wants them

Didn't you mention that you had one big pen that you could use for chickens? If they are trying to crow, they will be 'fooling' around with the girls. Your girls will not want that stress in their lives. How is your Swedish rooster doing today?

Enola, I have them to themselves in the old guinea coop. there are 20 of them and the little roos are fighting each other. I cant keep them like that. some are so little I cant tell hen from roo yet. the sfh roo is the same. I have moved him to heat just a 125 light and increased the strength of the denaguard to treatment instead of preventative.

I don't have any idea what to tell you about the roostr chicks. How about a FREE CHICKENS sign at the end of the driveway??

somehow that makes me feel young. I do believe thats a complement. LOL I bet it is a joy to watch the pups, sit there half the day and let the chores go. hahaa any idea what i could/should do with some bantam roos ? fist size just trying to crow.

You could let them get a little bigger and then wack them and call them Cornish game hens. I believe that you have cooked them before.
