yes it is. even the cold outside today gave me a hard time.  tightened them right up.

You should try tying a soft scarf over your mouth and nose when it's as cold as its been lately. That's what I do, it helps warm the air before you breath it into your lungs.

scarf not a bad idea, dont think i have one here though. tried a mask from the hospital and that made it worse. . brown egg didnt make it. pipped into yolk and not its own. must have been a double yolker and i didnt know it best i can tell but it wasnt a big egg. tried looking for something like it and didnt find anything except double yolk. last egg not looking good either so i have the 3 polish mix.

Aww that's too bad about your eggs and I definitely don't like wearing the masks either. Those things never stay on my face where they should and they make my glasses fog up. I have a thin fleece one, works great.

I agree with Eggcessive.  She's probably a black mottled Belgian d'Uccle  (pronounced dew-clay).  Very cute!!  What do her chicks look like?  And your Serama?  Got pics?

They are sooo tiny. I can hold all 3 serama babies in my Palm with room to spare! I've never had chicks this small. And they seem so much smarter than my standard chicks? Guess if your that small you better be smart to survive? ?
