Really. They hatched April 4th.


I have 4. I have 10 pullets that are 7-8 months old and I'm getting 0-3 eggs a day. The hens are in various states of molt, so they get a pass. There's a handful of 6 mo. pullets not laying either. This "lay at 22 weeks" is an unattainable dream.

That doesn't make sense! Mine were mostly 24-28 weeks. Pullets should lay through the first winter. Are they squatting? 

None of my birds squat. I think they're feminists.

I f they start burning their nest boxes you'll know for sure.

   got all of 2013 entered and balanced today.    Just 2014 left and then the cash receipts for 2012 thru this October. 

You are amazing twist, I have no idea how you get so much accomplished in a day. You must be just about on empty.
