If you do vent a little area up there Red, do it over the area where the run is not right where they're sleeping. If I have hardware cloth on the top floor of the coop where air can come through, will that be enough venting or should I put a vent in the top of the coop too. I have a small one in the door.

OH ok I have a desk in the lobby for the quests to use, plus the counter/desk that you check in on. Other wise the entire house is pretty much mine and mine alone. My main desk with all the books on it is in the back room, we call it the LOD. library office den. Its about a 60 to 75 ft trip from my back desk tot he "front desk" I have tried a pedometer for a couple weeks average distance was over a mile a day and that was when I wasn't doing much and the motel wasn't very busy.
Remind me not to sneak up on you. Lol
