Sleep well, Twist

My way is the lazy man's way. Drive around (must be section lines or established trails or roads) Stop when you see something. If it lays dwon then walk otherwise if close enough shoot and get ready for the chase LOL 4/4 trucks work the best.
the shape I'm in now, it has to be lazy man's hunting Lol.
this is a white tail my uncle shot up home a number of years ago made Boone and Crocket with it Score was round 180 give or take a few points
good Lord y'all grow em big up there. Biggest I've seen around here, and I killed it, was a ten point. Scored 142 and six eights. He was over 200lbs. Not sure dressed.
I know I should - just having trouble breaking out of ostrich mode on this. I worry a lot about everyone else's health, but tend to neglect my own.
mare definitely get checked. Sorry to hear this.

Hey Red, where did you go? Just remembered, did you get your broken water line fixed?
we dug and decided that we've had so much rain that it could be just standing water. Dug around 40 ft. And still no leak. Gonna give it a few more days. See if it Dr us up.

Sleep well Lisa and twist. Sorry, I was watching the video that was on the link tippy suggested last night on bumble foot surgery. I think I can do it. I'm not the squeamish type. Thanks tippy. Great link.

we do our own   here  that way I know its my deer and hung the amount of time that I wanted.   Man the buck have some big bodies this year  the racks not so much.
That's exactly why I do my own. I do it the way I want it. I make steaks out of backstrapes and maybe a few off the hind quarters, burger from ribs and shoulders, cube from hams. Haven't tried sausage yet but going to. I usually keep out some burger that I don't add fat to for jerky. Can't get it made fast enough around here. Usually use 30 per cent hamburger to 70 percent deer burger for our ground. Made gun racks out of the hoofs and tried tanning the hides but not to good with that. I have done squirrel skin into a pouch for my 22 bullets. Looked ok.
