    I have a thing to tippy, I use cool as in the wrong places and try to spell at least one word wrong in a run on sentence. :gig

    anything out of the rest of the eggs there RED ??? They might take longer since momma isn't sitting on them . OR did she take them back /??

    Broody of course still looks bad but she's eating, drinking and pooping. The chick has been eating and drinking on it's own some. I'm just worried about it because it looks like she had a small puncture wound but she's up walking around and her peep is strong. Looks better today then yesterday. I really think she's gonna make it. I hope the broody does too. If she gets to bad I will have to put her down.

    Red, it's really hard to raise a chick by itself. They are social creatures and need to be with others. Any chance the broody will accept it? Any movement in the eggs?

    Red you do realize that as long as your hen is raising the chick she won't lay any eggs right??
